Abstract
Background The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) concluded that the rates of Adverse Events Following Injections (AEFIs) for the human papillomavirus recombinant vaccine (qHPV) Gardasil were not greater than background rates. They also acknowledge limitations in the reporting system that could compromise this conclusion. On record as of 1/31/2010 were 15,829
AEFI reports including 49 deaths.

MEET the Gardasil girls.

They are from Florida and Wisconsin, Texas and Tennessee, New Mexico, New Zealand and Australia.

There’s Savanna from Ohio, Kahlia from New Zealand, and Kristyn from Washington State. They are just a handful of the girls whose pretty smiling faces peer back from the website Sanevax.org.
What binds them together? Suspected serious adverse reactions to cervical cancer vaccine Gardasil, and the fact that they were all perfectly healthy prior to receiving the vaccine.

This report summarises the adverse reactions suspected to have been caused by Cervarix human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine in the UK. This includes reports received between 14 April 2008 and 2 December 2009. These reports have been voluntarily submitted to the MHRA by healthcare professionals and members of the public via the Yellow Card Scheme (visit HTUTUwww.yellowcard.gov.ukUTH) and by the manufacturers of the vaccine as part of their legal requirements.

In order to better understand the exact mode and risk of vertical transmission in asymptomatic pregnant women, as well as the relationship between HPV transmission and mode of delivery,we have proposed this systematic quantitative review of prospective cohort studies. A comprehensive search was performed in the Cochrane Library,MEDLINE, LILACS, CANCERLIT,and EMBASE, as well as in the reference lists from the identified studies.
