PLEASE permit me to attempt once more to put Andrew Doyle (Letters, November 1) straight about the aims and objectives of Mothers Alliance Ireland in relation to vaccines.
Serious adverse events (including deaths and brain damage) experienced in other countries after the HPV vaccine have brought the issue of vaccine safety to the forefront not just in Ireland but around the world.
Our primary aim is to provide science-based information for parents and young people to help them make informed decisions about vaccination and other health issues.
We support a parent’s right to decide for their children, but how can parents make a right decision if they do not have all the facts, or worse, if they are given misleading half-truths.
Irish children deserve better.
