I’m sure many of you have seen the commercials on television of the sweet little girls jumping rope, faces bright and beaming, full of smiles. Then you see the moms, confident in telling the world that the HPV vaccines are the right decision for their daughters, and how it will protect them, everyone happy and healthy.
But, in reality is this truly the case after exposure to an HPV vaccine? Does everyone really happily jump rope into the future free from worry or sickness? The answer is simple, “NO”! In fact, many of the people I have met after their exposure to either gardasil or cervarix, only dream of jumping rope. Yes, jumping rope. It seems that after receiving an HPV vaccine, those that have an adverse reaction are unable to participate in the majority of activities they did prior to being vaccinated, many unable to attend school.
