After much research and discussion, my daughter and I had both signed the required form to refuse the Gardasil vaccine currently being administered in Quebec. In order to assure there would be no problem, I also phoned the school the morning the first dose of Gardasil was to be offered and spoke to the school nurse to inform her that my daughter would not be receiving this vaccine. The nurse assured me there would be no problem.
On 28 September 2011, my daughter presented the signed vaccine waiver and informed the school nurse that she would not receive the HPV vaccine. The nurse then set aside 15 minutes to inform Camille about the benefits of the vaccine.
After the discussion, Camille repeated her decision to refuse the Gardasil injection. The nurse then handed her additional informational documents and told Camille that if she changed her opinion, she could always inform the other nurse.
Subsequently, Camille met with a second nurse, this one outraged that my daughter refused the vaccine. She had set aside 10 minutes of her time to try to convince Camille again. The only side effect she mentioned was headache. This nurse pointed out that Camille would be the only one in the school to refuse Gardasil. She told her the consequence of refusing meant she could get cancer and die, only because she was being stubborn. She continued on until Camille finally granted her consent.
At that point, the nurse told her not to show her health record to her mother in order to avoid any discussion on this at home.
My daughter was pressured until she agreed to be vaccinated. Her ‘consent’ was neither freely given, nor appropriately informed. Camille’s consent was obtained through intimidation. A 14-year old girl does not have the experience to deal with authority figures in the same manner as an adult.
In my opinion, the way Camille was treated was an abuse of power and a breach of my trust in school health authorities.
Without my consent, or knowledge, Camille received her first Gardasil injection at 3:45 pm on that day. By 4:00 pm she was on the bus to come home. She already had a stomach ache and a headache. She decided to try and rest during the 45 minute drive home. She lost consciousness. Students noticed and tried to wake her up, but when they did she acted confused. They informed the bus driver, who promptly stopped the bus and called an ambulance.
She was admitted to St-Jérômes Hospital barely 2 hours after her injection. She has no memory of how she got to the hospital other than she recalls waking up in the ambulance. The hospital staff said there was no link between her condition and the vaccine. They recommended consulting an allergist.
The future brought fever, rash, fainting, fatigue, weakness, headaches, stomach pains and more consultations. She is now being treated for a urinary infection, abscesses in her mouth and oral candidose.

I lodged a formal complaint to the Order of Nurses of Québec. Teenage girls must be informed and warned of all possible side effects – not be left in the dark.
Today, nearly two months after the first shot of Gardasil, my daughter still has headaches that will not go away. Day after day she has to deal with them. She has no more appetite and has lost weight. This girl, who has been to an ophthalmologist every year since she was two years old and exhibited perfect vision, has now been told she will have to wear glasses because of her deteriorating vision.
For 11 years her vision was perfect, no longer – no link?
The doctor from the Canadian Health Agency told us there was no link between her symptoms and Gardasil. Furthermore, she said that Camille was sick and had all of those symptoms prior to vaccination. How can she say that?
I swear to God, my daughter’s health was in perfect condition BEFORE she got this shot.
I wonder… did this mother come forward after hearing Jeff Allan’s radio interview with Leslie Botha? I lose a lot of sleep at night worrying about how many other cases like this there are in Canada and no one except the parents and Health Canada knows about it. As you know, Norma, getting information out of Health Canada is next to impossible, but the truth will come out.

It has been one year ago today that my daughter received her one and only Gardasil shot, which we were pushed into, and she has been sick every day since. Horrible headaches, dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss, vision loss, and the list goes ono and on. If only we could turn back the time to last year but with the knowledge I know posess that nurse would get a piece of my mind. My heart goes out to all of Gardasil’s victims.

I write to ask you (and Camille) and Sanevax if you might consider allowing me to mention your daughter’s case in a campaign I am just setting up to take vaccines out of schools. In the UK, gillick competancy laws allow anyone 11 or over to consent to medical treatment without parental consent and even if a parent has said no. While this can be used in reverse (a child can say no if the parent has consented), I am concerned that coercion and bullying may occur in a school setting when vaccinations are done there (as happened to your daughter). The idea is to put vaccines back in the doctor’s office so that girls are not pressured into it and they can make choices with the benefit of parental guidance.
Please can you let me know if I am allowed to mention what happened to your daughter. We intend to send letters to MP’s and school boards etc. I am aware you are not in the UK but am sure this kind of thing is happening all the time in different countries.

No child under 16 years old or under should ever be allowed decide weather they should receive VACCINATIONS or not. What was it now 11 years old and over can decide for themselves? Thank you for sharing your heart-breaking story. It just strenthens my resolve to keep my children at home the day they do the in-school vaccinations! I hope your daughter is doing better… if not, I would also recommend trying an osteopath and/or naturopath for detox (if you haven’t already tried that venue).
So sorry, can I ask, have you sued the school nurses for this.? In the UK, a child under 16 does not have the legal capacity to consent to something like this, especially under pressure. You can rip them apart for this. I chose not to have my kids injected with this which was only introduced in my area in 2008. I told the nurse that if she tried what the nurse did with your daughter, (before i’d read your story)…if she tried it or did it then i would take her to court for attempted murder. It worked…

My daughter’s health has been damaged by the gardasil vaccine. She has suffered from severe stomach cramps and headaches as well as pain in joints since having her second shot. No doctor in the uk has been able to help as all tests have come back normal. I would like to try alternative remedies but we live in the uk. Can you please help us?

As a POTS victim, I am feeling for your daughter and you as her mum. I was given a first shot when I was 27, and my life changed since… I couldn’t walk for 6 month, I couldn’t sleep, I suffered terrible heart palpitations. I understand gardasil damages the vagus nerve, and small nerves and blood vessels in different organs including hearth. 11 years on, I am in remission, and thank God for this miracle. I will never be the same again, but I can walk and live an almost normal life. My blood pressure still drops, and I have regular fatigue and brain fog (as blood pools in legs and doesn’t adequately reach the brain). Regular exercise is important, for me its walking outside. What helped in the most in acute phase was natural herbs that I drank about 1 Lt a day and supplements such as thiamine (big one for pots), magnesium, turmeric (1 teaspoon a day in coconut oil), B complex, ginger , and of course eating a very clean diet – preferable organic, no gluten etc. Hope your daughter fully recovers.

Thank you for sharing your story. I too am a mother of a 14 year old girl who is suffering from PGS. Kaitlyn went from being a healthy very active teenage girl to now being barely able to walk. She is in pain 24/7, every joint in her body hurts all the time. She has trouble sleeping from the pain. We’ve seen 5 doctors, 3 of which were at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, all they said she had fibromyalgia!!
She does not have fibromyalgia, but she does have a heavy metal allergy. Coincidence that thiese vaccines are full of heavy metals? I was pressured my our family doctor, the school and health department nurses to give it to her. I wish I had done more research and made an informed decision.
We are now working with a natrual path to try and detox her body. Kaitlyn used to dance comeptitively 20 hours a week, she played rep soccer and ran track and field. She had to quit all of those as walking is hard enough. I am prepared to fight and go to the end of the earth and back for her and the other girls. These vaccines should be shelved, there is not enough research yet now they are giving it to boys!
