September 10, 2010. Mothers Alliance Ireland claims THE SCHOOLS VACCINATION CAMPAIGN, which is to be rolled out this month in Irish Schools for 12/13 year-old girls, poses a serious risk to the lives, health and welfare of Irish children, and it MUST BE ABANDONED IMMEDIATELY.

“Critical information concerning the Gardasil vaccine is being withheld from parents and the public and as a result parents are being denied the right to make a valued and fully informed decision about whether or not to consent to getting their daughters vaccinated”, said Mrs. Nora Bennis, MAI spokesperson. MAI has written to the Minister for Health and Minister for Education outlining the very serious concerns the group has about the safety, efficacy and necessity of this vaccine.

DIGEST: This bill deletes certain age limits for specified childhood immunizations required for admission to specified schools or child care centers, and requires the Department of Public Health to consider the immunization recommendations of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

This five page bill seems simple and straight forward, but it isn’t. It is a lot of words designed to hide the fact that the state’s legislators seek authority to mandate that schools be responsible for administering vaccinations to your child including HPV2 Cervarix for girls ages 10-25 or HPV 4 Gardasil for boys ages 9-26. That would be compulsory vaccinations without parental consent or notification.

CHLAMYDIA is on the rise among Scottish schoolgirls, and the increase has been blamed on a new jab to prevent cervical cancer.

Figures released by the NHS show that cases of the sexually transmitted disease in girls under 15 have risen by over a third, with doctors treating almost two new cases of the infection every week, mostly girls who fall within the age group offered the jab.

The trend matches the timing of the introduction of the human papillomavirus (HPV) jab for all girls aged between 12 and 17 in September 2008.

FORTUNE — There’s a liquid drug that women can get injected into a layer of muscle — three separate times over a six-month period — that can protect them from a kind of cancer. From a scientific perspective, that’s amazing. In terms of public health, it’s a breakthrough.

But four years after Merck (MRK, Fortune 500) released this would-be top-seller, called Gardasil, it has proven to be a marketplace dud. In Merck’s second quarter, the company reported an 18% year-over-year drop in sales to $219 million and its stock is down nearly 3% to date. Analysts are pointing to Gardasil not as a savior, but as a risk for investors.

Investigators publish new data in the report ‘Examining future adolescent human papillomavirus vaccine uptake, with and without a school mandate.’ In this recent report published in the Journal of Adolescent Health, researchers in the United States conducted a study “To develop a model of adolescent (HPV) human papillomavirus vaccine utilization that explored future HPV vaccination rates, with and without a school mandate, for the vaccine at middle school entry. A dynamic, population-based, compartmental model was developed that estimated over a 50-year time horizon HPV vaccine uptake among female adolescents living in the United States.”
