Doctors in UK Warned After a Catalogue of Vaccine Mix-Ups

Doctors across the UK have come under immense criticism after a survey revealed a catalogue of vaccine blunders. The Medical Defence Unit (MDU), who defends doctors accused of medical malpractice, carried out the survey. The results revealed that family doctors had been involved in vaccination blunders affecting 98 children and 10 adults over the last five years. These involved patients being given the wrong vaccine, the wrong dose of vaccine or were vaccinated without consent.

Synopsis

Neonatal brain injury is an important cause of death and disability, with pathways of oxidant stress, inflammation, and excitotoxicity that lead to damage that progresses over a long period of time. Therapies have classically targeted individual pathways during early phases of injury, but more recent therapies such as growth factors may also enhance cell proliferation, differentiation and migration over time. More recent evidence suggests combined therapy may optimize repair, decreasing cell injury while increasing newly born cells.

Unfortunately, the dream that was picked is the one that afflicting the youth of today – as the first generation of children prescribed drugs at an early age is morphing into a generation of pharmaceutical drug addicts. I can remember sometime before my teen years, my father – a pharmaceutical packaging sales rep for a plant in New Jersey – would come home bearing stuffed animals and other gifts if my sister and I took “sample” drugs. It sounds absurd – but it is a memory and a question that still haunts me today. What did I take – and what were the side effects?

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court closed the courthouse door Tuesday to parents who want to sue drug makers over claims that their children developed autism and other serious health problems from vaccines. The ruling was a stinging defeat for families dissatisfied with how they fared before a special no-fault vaccine court.
